Just checked my phone records...I contacted the TO on Friday before the weekend.
That bloody Christmas thing got in the way of returning the tickets!
Bah humbug....with bloody knobs on!

I would say the club need to maybe be a bit more pro active in enabling the re-allocation of tickets if they are going to be so punitive. I have no problem with someone passing on a ticket they tried to return. There a large extent to which I have no problem with people passing on a ticket they didn’t try to return (that’d be hypocritical because I’ve accepted one often enough). I have a problem with how we got here. A couple of thousand fans who can’t even appear to miss a game, while many others can’t get to a single one unless they pretend to be someone else.

Looking at the last post - 700 odd tickets not used today apparently - there were people who wanted to go and couldn’t.

Just seen we had 4393 official away attendance today, thought we had nearly 5k allocation, that looks like a lot didn’t actually bother going, tickets that could have gone to the next in line rather than just purchased to get extra history
Where does the official away attendance come from ?

I’m annoyed as I know a guy from middlesvilla and thought I would struggle to get a ticket so didn’t bother getting one in the home end.  What a pathetic turnout from them.

When I asked "how many of us are here today?" I was told our allocation was 4,500, maybe 4,800.
Do we have an "official" figure?
If so, verified by who?

The police?
But not the club(s)?
How's that work?

Lots and lots of empty seats in the home area, predictably high up and in the corners.
Saving themselves for Tuesday?

Crowd was bigger than we had against Everton in the LC.

The WMP that deal with Villa games have given 4393 as the number, and yet the according to 3 lots of tickets we were given they totaled 4960 and all 3 batches sold out. And if you look at the away end there's no way it was 10% empty. The only empty seats apart from maybe the odd one here and there were the buffer seats between home and away fans at either side of our support.

And on the plus side, WMP reported no arrests or ejections for our support.

Anyone think there's 500 empty seats?

There was one empty seat between me and the other Old Villa Fart next to me. Other than that I didn't see any.

I swapped with a bloke when I first got in so's he could be by his kid. I then had two empty seats next to me, and I could see a few odd ones around. I went up to join my brother in the second half as he hadn't got anybody within 3 seats either side of him.

The figure was from WMP, presume that was from how many actually went through the turnstiles, I have noticed before when he has tweeted a safe journey to x amount of fans, it does usually seem to be a lot less than the allocation, but don’t quote me on actual figures as this is just from memory

I couldn’t make it as I’d bought a ticket which arrived in the post yesterday at 1.30pm. As it was on the TV quite frankly I couldn’t be arsed to drive 3 odd hours up to Boro from where I live. So that’s one of the “missing 500”.

Hopefully you can get a refund if it arrived that late
