Chris Sutton predicts 2-0 win for us. He also says...

" I remember that Stephen Warnock backed Villa to make the top four at the start of the season and in all honesty I was thinking that was a stretch, but it isn't looking such a bad shout now."

Did Chris Sutton play for us once I can’t remember
Converted CB . Did well

I remember Goodison 2006/07. His signing was a H&V Day by day classic along the lines of "Sutton goes from useless nag to old pro who can do a job with one signature"

Sutton scored for them in the 05/06 derby. That was a febrile atmosphere if ever there was one. Great days, in a way.

Think he only scored once though, against Everton.

From a lovely ball floated in by another Villa legend - Isaiah Osbourne.

Strange player Isaiah Osbourne. Was he a genuine talent? If so, to what level? And what went wrong? One of those mysteries.

No idea what happened but he just slipped down the ranks , lack of talent or wasn't properly coached or a bit of both ? Good players rise to the surface one way or another usually and he didn't so

He played a few games for a Premier League club, wasn't good enough and went on to have a successful career in the lower leagues. it happens and I'm sure most of us would have been happy with it.

Oh definitely beats an office job. Walked out of old Trafford though thinking we had a new star talent come through , just didn't materialise sadly . Same era as the Moore brothers

I remember a game I think vs. Everton and he was the stand out player to me.  Never heard from him again.

I saw him play against Stratford Town for Nuneaton last season  .  One of those I recognise you from somewhere
