Lansbury and Collymore played for Forest and Villa.

A week off couldn't have come at a better time. Despite being a tough prospect a fully rested squad should have more than enough to get the win but I can see it being narrow, with Emery's pragmatism winning the day.

0-1

Ramsey expected back around 2028 and likewise for Moreno as they were both “short term injuries” which in Villa speak means years away!!

Not the worst thing in the world to have lost to Everton.

Disappointed not to be playing in the cup, but very happy that we're getting a week's rest, going 3 nil Villa.

And Liverpool...

Going off topic entirely now but when did everyone apart from Liverpool stop singing "you'll never walk alone"? Everyone used to sing it. I remember us singing it in the 1994 LC Final, so not especially long ago (ok, nearly 30 years ago). But still, when did this happen?

We've had this one before. We definitely sang it against Bradford in 1988, then by 1994 it was reserved for Old Trafford to wind up the Mancs and for blokes in pink suits. Maybe after Hillsborough.

Pretty sure you can also hear it being sung at the Tranmere semi-final in '94.

It definitely was at the 94 final, don't remember it at the 96 final. But then in 1994, people were singing along to the Coke jingle that was played repeatedly in Wembley.
