It was really comfortable. We could have scored more but we didn't need to.

One little minor quibble from today...whoever has told Dave Boulton to start acting like an overexcitable 20 year old needs to be given a quiet word.

I'm not sure when he started doing our PA but he's been on it since I've been going (1997) and very good he is too.

The stuff like shouting "Yipee aye yay" right before kick off and then over-egging the names of our goalscorers I just find very cringy. Disappointing if he's been told to change his style/tone just to appeal to a demograph of our fanbase as it's very unnecessary. It's something you'd expect to hear at a Reading or Fulham.

Not quite as bad as that one time we played music after scoring a goal which led to a revolt against Krulak on here but I'd rather it just got cut out and he announced the goalscorer in his normal professional manner.

And another quibble. Stop singing about Blues. The Rooney song was quite funny but to be honest, I didn't even realise Andros Townsend played for them. It just made us sound obbessed.

It wasn't Townsend, it was Chong who they believe it or not paid £4m to the rags for.

Not really related to today but we've had goals from 12 different players so far this season, across all competitions.

Konsa and Zaniolo are the only 2 getting regular game time that are yet to score. I suppose Lenglet and Carlos have had a bit of game time too.

(Martinez has even technically scored one)

Didn’t need to get out of 1st gear today, Luton were woeful. Sloppy after our third but never looked in trouble.
Thought the Luton fans were superb to be honest and I hope they stay up but don’t think they will.

Don’t know why but Alkmaar’s home league match was abandoned earlier today.
Bas Dost NEC player collapsed.

Didn’t we try to sign him years ago? Thankfully it appears he is fine.

We've always sung about the Blues as long /, as I can remember at least, it's a Brummie thing. What's the Rooney song?

Haha, that's even worse. I've never heard of him either.

Good win, didn’t have to get out of first gear though as they were terrible.
Upping the price of a beer to £6.30 a pint is taking the piss though.

Just back , with a heavy cold or covid19 , not sure. That was a tough watch , luton strangled all joy out of it. But 3 more points delighted. Thought we tired a bit towards the end , Zaniolo how did he not score , McGinn missed that sitter too . Glad Diaby got his goal and Bailey did well again once on.
Feel sorry for them luton fans having to watch that shit plus they have to go back home to live in luton !

Need to keep building that gap to sixth during this run of fixtures. All really promising. Up. The. Villa.

Think they're just enjoying their year in premier league to care too much.

They were very negative today but ultimately when you look at their 11 it's very limited so they have to play in that style and hope to pinch goals at key times here and there. It worked for them v Everton and second half v Forest.

They should get more points than our 15/16 "vintage" although will probably be a close call. We quickly got found out playing expansive football in 19/20 at this level so I don't really have an issue with what they're doing.

Man Utd got a quarter of the fee as a sell-on too.

I thought he actually looked pretty decent for them when he came on.

Obviously not great, but better than anything that had gone before him.
