Looking at that bench we’d be a bit fucked if Watkins took a knock.

Also, when is Moreno back?  He seems to have been out for a very long time now.

Emery said after the next international break. Same for Ramsey.

Our goals come from all over.

That’s true, but that’s with Watkins pulling defenders left right and centre.

Good news.

Surprised at that, really thought Bailey would start.

He'll get minutes today as will I expect Tielemans.

Usual line-up, was hoping Tielemans would get a start.

Mebbe, but with the minutes everybody's gained lately, our bench looks quite awesome. Not a lot of drop-off in quality at all.

Bailey and Tielemans likely to be disappointed. Did enough on Thursday to push both ahead of Zaniolo in the starting line up. Maybe Emery just giving Zaniolo the start to give him a boost after all the drama during the week but he needs to start delivering on the pitch.

When you look at our bench and then think we're missing Mings, Moreno, Ramsey, Buendia and Duran, you realise we've got a pretty good squad built.

Zaniolo is a better ball-carrier in the deep positions than either of those two, even if it isn't his dream role. Bailey's competing with Diaby for the start and he's not getting that on current form, though it's no longer any fault of his own.

In the recent spell of gushing about us from the media, I've not really noticed any of them point out that what we're doing this season is without Ramsey, Buendia, Mings and Moreno.

I think Konsa is due a goal. Clean sheet due too.

Whereas you can't move in a Chelsea injury for mentions of how their season's been disappointing only because of injuries to Gaston Baston, Cyril Fernandez, Loksha Smith-Schmidt or Angelo Wojcik (average age 19.25).

I could live with 7-1.

It was mentioned in Thursday's  commentary
