Have to disagree with one or 2 posts stating Sa and  Neto being their only 2 decent players. Draw about right and I’d find it hard to say tonight which of our players caused them any grief today.
Somedo , lemina , Dawson , Cunhe, Ant Noire , all very decent players

They're shite, it's why they'll languish in the bottom 6 or 7 all season and get a hard on going full Stoke against a good side. Why we should be peeved we didn't beat them.

For anyone who hasn't seen it

Think Watkins should have scored that one anyway. Didn't realise he was so close to goal watching it live. Went for the big swing rather than a side foot across goal. If he properly falls over/dives then he gets the penalty for sure.

Definitely 2 points dropped and a gap opening to the top

He might be a journeyman but Dawson is a wiley defender. We were linked with him heavily a couple of transfer windows ago. Would have preferred him to Carlos to be honest.

In a low block he's very good indeed. Kilman was the one who had an error in him and we should've pressed him far more than we did.

Diaby looked like he hadn't trained all week bar perhaps a light session yesterday. Guess with the two week break and him not making the French squad one more it was a gamble we were happy to take.

I have no problem if they do similar v Man. United and Spurs as I'd fancy them to get at least a draw v one of them. Man. United beating them on the opening day was one of the least deserved results you'll see all season so Wolves can be useful for that reason.

Just spoke to a dingle work colleague who’s a ST holder and he made me laugh. Claimed that we’re experts in the dark arts under Unai with McGinn constantly niggling at people. Prat

Yeah their home form is vital to them staying up. Packing the defence, sitting deep and looking for the long hoof to Neto in the channel will cause others problems.

We weren't anywhere near our best, so I'll take a point. We're averaging 2 points a game, sitting 5th and with a couple of our best players to come back in Moreno and Ramsey. There's a gap and others should be mindful of it getting bigger.

I'd have taken 5th after 8 games if offered that before the season started.  We've won as many games as Liverpool have, who are top 4 and scored more goals than any team in the top 4.  We are doing ok and the game today was a typical derby against a niggly team, fighting for their future in this league.  People writing off Zaniolo and Darby in other threads is absolutely crackers.

Don't go into football management then!  Are you actually dissing Emery?

We drew.  This is not the end of the world.

Didn't really work today. McGinn out of position again too. Think our squad needs a lot of strengthening in January. Digne had a decent game but thought we missed likes of Mings, Ramsey and Buendia today. For starters, there isn't a hope Neto would have taken Mings down the line today like he did to Torres and Carlos. Emery doesn't rate the likes of the Donk, Chambers or Traore, another injury or two and we will be reliant on them.
