I don’t blame Wolves for playing the way they are. They are doing what they can to stop us from playing. It’s how they ultimately beat Man City. If they try and open up we will beat them and they know that.

Weird half. Started well the opening 10-15 mins, been scrappy with Wolves on top since, yet they've had 2 shots to our 8. Diaby and Watkins not in the game at all.

We've started doing that thing again. The one where we pass it slower than an elderly snail stapled to an anvil.

That’s on Diego, he’s slowing the game to a near halt and with Wolves dropping so deep it makes for a boring stalemate.

Ollie and Diaby have no idea what’s going on today. Huge gaps, poor timing and no ability to retain possession.

Surely Semedo deserves a booking there?

0-0 away is OK I guess, but that was a load of shite to watch.

We are a much better team and they've turned it into a scrap.  Which the yokels love obviously.

Trust in the Pro to make some tweaks at HT.

Been pretty poor after the first 15. Need to be much more incisive and get Diaby and Watkins into the game. We look a bit vulnerable down the right had side.

That was rubbish, from both teams. Has McGinn hit his head or something? He single-handedly decided to turn it into a fight. I don’t understand why. Unless that’s a plan of some sort. Has Unai spent all week watching a game when Wolves were good?

They’ve made it difficult for us, with men behind the ball, but we are very defensive too. No urgency and reverting to long balls too often.

Would much prefer to see McGinn up there on the right, granted he is involved in every scrap on the left but we miss him on the other side. After a game on Thursday night maybe no surprise our performance is a bit flat but if we lift it at all there are three points here for us.

Imperative we don't go behind in this game. We are struggling to make chances as it is.

Turgid horrible half of football to watch. Think we have a lot more quality in our side but we have been so slow and sloppy in possession. Up the tempo a bit and we'll beat these.

Mcginn needs to be a bit careful. He's been fouled a lot, but constantly throwing his arms in the air is running the risk of a second yellow for moaning. Such are the rules at present.

Niggly, scrappy - we need to rise above their level.
