If people were honest they'd be talking about Chelsea the same way they talk about Luton or Sheffield Utd.
If you ignore the names on their team sheet that's a plucky fight from a relegation battling team to only lose 1-0.

The commentary from the screeching Wolfs fan and Ekuko was constantly from a Chelsea perspective. Listed Chelsea injuries with an "oh, Villa have some injuries too".
Jackie Oadley usually seems OK but today was like Chelsea TV.

She's a Wolves fan.
Poor thing, she’s had a tough childhood.

I only saw the last 15 minutes plus added time, but I thought Ekoku was OK. Jackie Oatley was awful though.

Martinez some excellent saves that kept us in it.

Defence very strong.

Mcginn/ Watkins / Diaby poor

If Abramovich was still in charge Poch would be getting the heave ho and to be fair pretty justified. Always thought he was overrated.
As some have said averaging 2 points per game in the prem after Goerdies and 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' away is pretty decent start.

Now let's smash the rest of the European games and march on

How much more solid do we look when Bouba plays well? Also good signs with the number of offsides - suggests the defence is getting the line right now.

That was a good win, and when they went down to 10, we did step it up.

Watkins was getting increasing stick from the fans during the game, so I am just glad he scored for a confidence booster. I think he and Diaby were the weaker links today, but I'd still rather have him than Jackson.

However, Luiz was outstanding, so much better than Fernández and Caicedo who cost about £200m and got subbed. Moreover, the defence played much better today.

The linesmen were annoying today, flagging against us immediately in the first half but letting play drag on so many times when Chelsea were offside.
