Great performance today.

Very well organised by Emery.

Sending off changed the game but was deserved.

Justifies the midweek selection IMHO - Premier League so important to us!

4 wins from 6 in the league - great run of fixtures coming up (Brighton aside - will be tough). We’re gonna get better too. Kamara and Konsa at their best today.

The commentary from the screeching Wolfs fan and Ekuko was constantly from a Chelsea perspective. Listed Chelsea injuries with an "oh, Villa have some injuries too".

And stated that Chelsea had to play with 10 for “over an hour”.

Lovely. Watched the game by the pool in Alghero.  After a superb little 46 miler on the bike from Stintino.  Nice.

12 points very satisfactory.   In the old days we'd draw games and get comfort from not losing. We rarely draw under Emery which means winning games and losing the odd one means we are better off position and points wise. I wonder how long it took to get 12 pts last season....i bet it wasn't until Emery came in.

True.  But we have lost key players.
Good to see JJ back and Ollie get a goal.  All is good.

That injury time was a real struggle, ballsy offside line after 110mins! Great result, performance a bit mixed especially after we went ahead. Correct decision for the red card. Tielemans lively cameo, rest of the subs less so.
Martinez 8 - fast off line and a few excellent saves
Cash 7 - very solid in the main but struggled with Chilwell
Konsa 8 - back to his best today
Torres 7 - much better with no clangers
Digne 7 - average first half but much better after he got the smash on his nose
Kamara 7 - excellent first half but quieter after break
Luiz 8 - very good again, set pieces a bit off but class on ball at times
McGinn 6 - running on empty a bit currently but won some good tackles
Zaniolo 6 - brilliant shot forced a cracking save, quiet second half
Diaby 4 - anonymous in first half and a bit of a stinker in second
Watkins 6 - as per Diaby until the goal!

Tielemans was lively in his cameo showing much more aggression, rest of them were poor, Emery far from impressed with Duran

I didn't see the match or even follow match thread though it seems a few who owed us a performance delivered today.

Clean sheet after shipping so many away goals this season is a massive plus. Well done Ollie for stepping up now he has more competition.

How did the other who have not delivered much Pau, Digne and Kamara do?

Bit harsh on Pau & Digne that.

We had 12 when he came in after 13 games in October.

I think it was when Danks came in.

The game Aaron Danks was in charge for - the 4-0 win against Brentford - took us to 12 points on 23rd October after 12 games.

All that travel and burden of playing UECL match in Poland on Thursday told on us. Lucky for Chelsea that Pochettino had the luxury of full week to prepare. No wonder they contained it to a respectable  narrow defeat.
