Funeraling or funeralling?

I actually ummed and aahed over this before starting this thread. I decided that as 'to funeral' isn't even a verb, no matter what you all think of my choice, you can all go and fuck yourselves, you ungrateful wankers, because I do not care.

When in doubt, ask a goth. Rory will be here at around 4.30am.

I was so depressed when I woke up the day after the Newcastle game it had me thinking it wasn’t healthy. Probably a direct consequence of being so optimistic all summer.

If we do well, I make a point of watching MOTD live on Iplayer. Stupid really, because I could watch it the next day on demand. If we've fucked up, then I don't bother.

I am an old grumpy guy, set in my ways.

I was worried in the summer that the last time I felt this optimistic was the summer before Sir Brian left.

Well we did end up qualifying for Europe. I’ll take that again, hopefully without the disruption.

I just think we wouldn't create the word in this country, so one L is sufficient given its just an Americanism.

Yep, exactly the same. Always watch MOTD when we win, don't bother if we lose, draw ... depends on whether I think it's a good result or not, but my default position is that Villa are the best team in the world so anything other than a win is an abomination & inno way natural or just.

I'll read match reports properly if we win or draw, skim through them if we lose.

I phone or text my dad when we win. Lose or draw, I never bother. He doesn't want to talk about it, I don't want to talk about it, so that's about that.

If we win Dad will pull up at the shop and buy the Sports Argus and get me a bag of crisps.  Maybe even a Smurf if he needs petrol.  If we lose it's straight home for tea.

I suppose I was lucky in that my Dad didn't like football and I wasn't subjected to the variation in moods, he was just a miserable sod all the time.

I reckon I might still have my Smurf in a box in my mums loft.

Make sure it's got a yellow dot on the foot before you put it in your mouth.

What's all this smurf malarkey? Were they free with petrol or something back in the day? My Saturday night treat was a bottle of vimto (with straw) and a bag of RTP crisps from the outdoor of the pub.
