Unai needs to see who he can and can't trust. And unfortunately a lot of them we looked at ourselves as fans: Cash, Bailey, even Watkins really. Just aren't looking good enough for top level aspirations.

Correct on all counts.

This is why we will need another couple of windows as we put Monchi to work.

Liverpool at home have 1 defeat in 43 and won last 13 I think the commentator just said. So losing here isn't a disaster but we look hopeless at the back without Mings, just like we did last season when he didn't play.

I think that's the first time I've heard Watkins' name mentioned. He really isn't good enough.

It's not the losing, it's the manner in which we're doing it.

Please no 10 minutes of injury time. Get them off, give them a bollocking, make some subs.

I think Konsa is only half the player when he doesn't have Mings playing next to him.

Problem with Watkins in the end isn't even the finishing - it's the touch. Just doesn't have the instinctive technique and close control for this football. It's a shame, as I like him for so much of what he does, but just compare him to that child Ferguson yesterday...he just doesn't quite look like he belongs.
