A job jobbed, clean sheet and Bailey, Cash both on 3 goals for the season.  Good stuff Villa.

Please ask Unai about other potential incoming business when interviewed!!

Let's keep it as the quietest post-match thread ever. No need for more than one page...

I give tonight a swerve for various reasons so did something I have never done before. Watched one of our games on the telly, lying on the sofa rather than pacing around the room, shouting at the TV, looking out of the window and siting in a certain position because we scored when I sat like that earlier in the game.

Watched on the much maligned VillaTV and the quality was bob on.

For a dead rubber I thought it was a decent game. I was impressed with Kellyman and Revan who did not look out of place at all.

Olsen played well and made a few decent saves, it's good to see him gain confidence as there will be times where we need him like it or not. It's a long season and Martinez will be off for International matches at times.

The ball from Torres for Durans goal was top notch, and you can see why Emery pushed to bring him in. The Lenglet move makes sense as he has similar passing range and he will make for good cover.

I think we will top whatever group we end up in, and it will good to have opportunities this season for the likes of Kellyman to gain experience.

I'm almost afraid to ask this but how did Tielemans get on? That's the most he's played for us so far.

He was solid, was all a bit too easy for us to hold onto the ball for long spells so hard to judge.

Revan and Kellyman both very promising and Duran stuck his goal away really well.
As easy a game as we’ll ever have in any competition this season.

Job done. Fair play to the Hibs fans. That's the way to support your team, even when they are getting battered.
