Has there been any update on Martinez? I expect to see Olsen against Hibs but hoping normal service is resumed for this one.

That's my concern too. With Emi there we will be solid, confident and commanding.  With Olsen, not so much.

Rumours I heard were that Emi had a calf issue and wasn't risked on Sunday with the Liverpool game in mind.  Hope he will be back.

1-1

They’ll get a late equaliser.
Joe Newell to score and SHA start selling CD of the goal in their shop?

Possibly, if he gets his move to Liverpool.

Yeah, we know it's his calf, he didn't train at all after the Hibs game, and I haven't seen him in any of the training pics the club has put up so far this week. If he's on the bench tonight I'll assume he's good to go on Sunday.

I don't think Emery will put Emi on the bench even if he's 100% right. No point really, pack the bench with kids and give them a run out.

Well chances are we're not changing keepers during the game unless there's an injury to Olsen, in which case I'd rather have Emi come on. But I don't think he'd be on the bench if he wasn't at least able to play if needed.

I'm getting the feeling Olsen will be in goal again.

See, this is why we don't have 2 match threads at once because I doubt you're suggesting Olsen in goal and kids on the bench to face Liverpool.

That's maybe my fault. I was wondering if Emi would be back for Liverpool, and assumed if he shows up on the bench tonight that will mean he's fit.

No, I was responding to the point immediately above mine which was talking about having Martinez on the bench tonight and then being good for Liverpool.

I get that but the whole sequence of posts felt tlike it was in the wrong place, I quoted you as the end of the conversation rather than picking you out.

1-2.

Diaby, McGinn. Martinez to save 105th minute penalty.

Oh fuck! You see this is what happens when we have two pre match threads running. We need a site rule to ban that😳
