Everton at home please. We will smash them again to such an extent that we will be in round 4 and we will be awarded 3 league points.

Correct

Think he's going to bear the brunt of a lot of frustration there. The Evertonians I know hate their squad on a level that I hated ours in the relegation season.  They could have McGrath reincarnated and they'd say he was shit.

They're going down this season. Hate to say it because I quite like Everton, but they're us in 15/16.

Maybe this Beto chap will prove to be their 2015 Benteke and keel them up?

Scored on his debut for them.

If we take it seriously, we should be too good for Everton. Lots of the other better teams have tricky ties, so you never know. Also, Chelsea seem to be playing the kids, so could get knocked out.

They didn't really create any chances for themselves until Beto came on last night. And I don't recall them having that many against us either. Maybe he can be a one man band but seems like they're asking an awful lot of one person.

Until he leaves and they go down the next season

A lot of football to be played between now and the actual game. They could have an upturn in form, we could do the opposite.
Nice to have a home draw against an opponent we have beaten already this season, we will be favourites to go through.
But take nothing for granted, should be a good atmosphere

Oh I’m taking a comfortable win for granted.

I'd be disappointed if we don't smash them into the back of next week. If we have to have an all Premier League tie then it's the easiest one.

By the time we play them they’ll have the new manager bounce.

Can we borrow the Austrians' YOUR NIGHTMARE RETURNS banner for this one?

They need a good relegation. I suspect with a progressive managerial appointment they would then come back up.

Nobody needs a good relegation, especially not them. They're struggling to pay for their stadium as it is, a year or however long on reduced income isn't going to help with that. As every relegated team finds out, their better players would be sold and have to be replaced on the cheap. Relegation is never, ever a good idea.

It would be for Small Heath.

I see a potential issue with this scenario, and suspect at that point they'll be appointing someone with a 'proven track record of promotion' and a commitment to putting boots on and sleeve rolling up.
