Songs aren't the same as bricks.

Ooh, I dunno, I remember this one from the 1980s.

He's only a poor little Scouser
His face is all tattered and torn
He made me feel sick
So i hit him with a particularly edgy rendition of the 'humane' aria of The Mikado
And now he don't sing any more

Well, as has been said before, every fan base has they’re own set of morons,

Well, this is awkward.

Now changed. Spellchecker.
Not sure a typo and being told by liars to vote to be poorer and then doing it can be equated. Still football thread so we should draw a line.

Not too sure about that. There aren't many things worse than the Tories, but "they're" instead of "their" is one of them, IMHO.
I'm going to rise above this debate. I couldn't lower my standards so far. That would be unpossible.

Watched the highlights on MOTD2. If only Ollie could not hit the keeper from point blank range the scoreline would have been epic.

Olsen’s attempt to save their goal was odd. Was he even at full stretch?

The midfield of McGinn, Kamara & Luiz seems to have everything. At this rate Tielemens & Ramsey will have to be patient, when JJ is fit that is.

Felt Pau could have been a touch more physical for their goal but thought he had a good game.

Carlos has had a couple of free headers from corners. He’ll soon nod one in.

Olsen stretched enough to reach it, but his hand wasn’t strong enough to stop it.

Mostly because it's made of an empty pickled onion Monster Munch packet.

Looking at their forum there is mention of an incident when our fans bricked their coaches in the car park at Villa Park as they left. I do have a vague recollection of this. So there may be some element of ‘tit for tat’.
Whilst throwing bricks at a vehicle moving at speed clearly adds some risk, throwing bricks through windows where people (including children) are inside could always end very badly.
As has been said, we all have our share of idiots.

Has it been confirmed that the perpetrators were Burnley fans, or were they just local teenage scrotes chucking a brick at fancy coach? Anyway, it's fortunate that Unai had analysed the route, calculated a significant possibility of a brick attack, and asked the driver to keep the front seats empty.

Thought it was a smart turn and finish, maybe Olsen could have come out to punch , maybe Carlos could have headed it behind, maybe Torres could have been stronger and not allowed the boy to turn.

I think when they’re watching it back they’ll be more annoyed about the goalscorer finding space in the box and being allowed to turn, rather than the goalie not saving it.

He was probably slightly annoyed though as it took a couple of minutes out of his time analysing Liverpool's shape and structure and planning for this week's training.

I'm sure Emery will be making them watch it over and over to iron out the errors

This appears to be what happened

https://twitter.com/LeRatio16/status/1695895730261491874

A lot of pearl-clutching going on here. It's just fancunter. We sing the national anthem at them, they throw bricks at our players and staff. That's what fancunter is. We accuse Liverpool fans of being 'always the victim', Burnley fans hire a plane to deliver racist messages. It's all just fancuntery, you woke snowflake weirdos.

Think there is a bit of a difference between singing the national anthem at a match to wind Scots and scousers up, and throwing bricks at the windows of a team coach as it motors down a main road isn't there?

Yeah, his false equivocation falling flat.

You need to grow a pair mate. The lads of Big Talk didn't fanny around at Goose Green because of a few bricks. This is what we want, isn't it? Their lot having a go at our lot. It's just the fancunter as it was designed and meant to be. Don't clutch your pearls, get singing!

Are you OK?

Of course not. Another set of fans have wound us up. I just wonder what our next move is. I love fancunter as much as the next person, but we're going to need to double down on our own wind ups. Maybe we could poison their water supply? Just an idea at this stage. The important thing is that we wind them right up at some point.

I suggest a targeted shitposting campaign to Alastiar Campbell and John Kettley.

Can you clarify what you mean by shitposting, I need to know whether to take a fishing net to the loo or not.

Spamming their social media accounts with sarcastic replies, dredging up embarrassing in hindsight media appearances and quotes for Campbell and Iraq and shit, inaccurate forecasts for Kettley.

That sort of thing.

Lol! That’s going to wind those C-words right up! Let’s get winding. I might have a pop at their dads as well. Just to wind them up. There’s nothing like being a football fan if you’re into winding other football fans up. It’s what it’s all about.
