Olsen did what he needed to apart from getting caught in no-man's-land near the end. He looks like what he is; a back-up goalkeeper.

Have to disagree, suicidal pass to Kamara , the headless chicken flap leaving Rodriguez an empty net, the guy is a joke .

Having seen it from a different angle now, that was crisp packet hands for the goal.
I thought at the time he should have saved it
Yet you don’t mention Torres getting turned so the guy could get his shot off from 6 yards?
It doesn't suit the current narrative on this forum to heap shit on Olsen even when there is no reason.

I stuck up for him on a Villa Facebook page, but then saw the different angle on the highlights posted here. Very weak effort by both of them.

I wouldn't say bullied, just out-thought. Torres thought the player was going to turn to his left and shoot so went for the that and then was wrong side of the actual shot.

Both are true, Torres was weak for the goal, as was Olsen.

He came out and flapped when Torres cleared it, he came flying out again Rodriguez missed the chance, he panicked and walloped it straight back at Kamara. I'm sure Emi has been guiltily of some of this stuff too, but just because we won doesn't mean he played well.

Thought Martinez would have saved it alright. Torres was done really poorly though.

Torres got rolled too easily for the goal but Olsen should have done better.
Then there's the headless chicken flap leaving Rodriguez an empty net, plus the suicidal pass to Kamara that almost cost us.
Emery was furious with Olsen first half for booting it long. He's a pub league goalie and we need better

And we score again.

Delayed stream?

Haha, no in just mean we've only not scored in 2 games (both away) since Emery came in.

Just before the cross came in for their goal Carlos headed a ball behind him while facing Olsen that he'd have nodded safely back to Martinez.

That was the problem with the goal.

Olsen should have done better, but Torres was poor for their goal. He can't allow himself to be bullied by the striker so easily

I think we may see a bit of this for the next month or two as he adjusts. One of the big minuses about Tyrone’s injury is it hasn’t allowed Torres to find time to get used to the Premier League.

Typically I was at both, and I don't get to aways that often.

Well. I suggest you keep it that way then.

Just read that Emery has never had a 0-0 result in a Premier League fixture.

Unpopular opinion but wasn’t Watkins offside for our third goal?
