Olsen did what he needed to apart from getting caught in no-man's-land near the end. He looks like what he is; a back-up goalkeeper.

Have to disagree, suicidal pass to Kamara , the headless chicken flap leaving Rodriguez an empty net, the guy is a joke .

Having seen it from a different angle now, that was crisp packet hands for the goal.
I thought at the time he should have saved it

A run of three convincing wins against teams that have looked mostly shit.
Under Gerrard opposition teams never looked shit.

1-3 flattered them, Ollie's unbelievable miss was a shocker and Zaniolo made a mess of that counter just after he came on. With all our injuries, Olsen and a completely new formation, it's a great result. Lee Hendrie was doling lots of praise on Burnley, maybe trying to appear neutral, but honestly thought they were very poor. Someone on the pre match thread called me Tony Mowbrays WBA and to be honest that's what they looked. Special mentions to Cash obviously for two fine goals, Carlos first 90 mins in a long time but a rock, Kamara best game in a while and McGinn was immense. Torres was very soft for their goal and was rocking for a while afterwards. Zaniolo showed nice touches when he came in.

Olsen 6, Konsa 7, Carlos 8, Torres 6, Cash 8, Luiz 7, Kamara 8, Digne 7, McGinn 9, Watkins 7, Diaby 7.

Diego played 90 min at Hibs. He’s getting better with each week. Confidence has to be a big thing after his injury, but he’s clearly a very good player.

I thought Zaniolo did very well considering he was only on for 15 minutes. A promising start.

Not the toughest game we'll have this year but some very positive signs.

Promoted teams away at the start of the season can be tricky, as we know well. However, I thought we were it total control first half. When they scored so early in the second half I feared the worst but we rode out the storm and we continued to look very threatening on the counter. I love the way we move the ball around centrally at times rather than just going wide.

McGinn my MOTM, closely followed by Diaby and Cash. Credit to Digne too. For all the noise in the background he has been very impressive this week. I kinow they'll face tougher opponents but I've got every faith that Carlos and Torres will prove excellent acquisitions.

In Unai we trust!

Yet you don’t mention Torres getting turned so the guy could get his shot off from 6 yards?

Always great to beat Burnley. They’re like the turd that won’t flush. You think you’ve got rid of it and then up it pops again.

SJM and Diaby. The real top drawer players in our squad.

It doesn't suit the current narrative on this forum to heap shit on Olsen even when there is no reason.

Olsen should have done better, but Torres was poor for their goal. He can't allow himself to be bullied by the striker so easily
