Had a stream with bbc Scotland - commentators did sound a bit like Alex Ferguson.

Am assuming we all had the same one, too. I thought they were actually pretty good. Well, better than the dross we normally get, certainly refreshing to hear differing opinions and less of the usual predictable biased bilge.
I agree with this. It s the sound of the speech I refer to , like people coming from same part of a country sound alike - like the same dialect if you have that word. We learned English at school over here so my use of the language might do somtimes that I dont get what I want to say across in good way ish :)

Totally understood what you meant, was just an aside.

Yes I thought the bbc Scotland commentators were excellent.

I noticed Darren having a go.  Not about the punctuation or an off round.

It is sad but it's seen as 'football bantz'. Same as some Hibs fans singing "Lizzie's in a box" at our fans.

I don’t think the gap between leagues is that stark, Celtic would not get ripped apart by Everton or Sheffield United. (e.g.) Over two legs Burnley needed added time to get past Aberdeen a few years ago.

But the gap between the Glasgow teams and the rest of the Scottish premier league is wider than ever before. I mean! Brendon Rodgers left for Leicester, with Celtic on the brink of doing an (utterly ludicrous) treble treble.

The gulf we saw tonight is basically two gulfs, the top seven of the premier league and the rest, and the gulf between the top two of the Scottish premier league and the rest.

I guess post Brexit any chance of the Scottish clubs joining the English league must be more remote than ever? Sad to see Edinburgh clubs so weak.

The hatred really is still there isn’t it.

To be fair to Johnson - not something I like to do, as he's a prick - I don't see much wrong with what he said there.

Did I hear the commentator say something about him complaining to the match officials about Emery's positioning in the technical area, or something?
Actually seen it during the first few minutes, Emery never battered a eyelid

It is and I don't really get going out of your way to wind up other fans of you don't have any previous animosity with them.

Its mostly Celtic fans crying about that though so fuck them.

Texting my mate during the game, he lives in Northants and also follows the Cobblers.  We were debating whether Hibs were as good as the Cobblers or about the same standard.   When the commentators stated that they have a 'massive game' this weekend against Livingstone, you begin to realise just how low quality their Premier Division is.  Makes me realise what a really bad appointment Gerrard was. You can only beat what is put in front of you and that was a demolition.  We didn't need to get out of first gear.

It was 1986 or something the last time someone other than Celtic or Rangers won the SPL. You've basically got to think about the Old Firm games and  that's about it. Be interesting to see how Ange gets on at Spurs now, to see just how bad Gerrard was.
