Job done with extreme prejudice. I feel sorry for Hibs fans who were hoping to see a different result. We should be able to manage the second leg now. The expression 'Onwards and upwards' has never felt more appropriate.

Job done. The jealousy of the money we spent has got a little boring from the commentators and pundits.

Nothing to do with jealousy IMO and everything to do with modern football. We make the same complaints about man city. Loads of money clearly makes a difference

I think the Newcastle score really pissed them off, and Everton and Hibs got the real worst of them proving a point.

Enjoyed that.

We can't really let Digne go in this form can we?

The amount we spent on Diaby is quite possibly more than the combined transfer fees spent by all Scottish clubs over the last year or two.

I’m actually shocked at the gulf in quality between the two Premier Leagues maybe i was being naive

My lad asked me how good they would be and I said they would probably be at the level of a lower championship team
After watching that don’t I think they would survive in any of our professional leagues

That was a proper professional outing. Good on the squad for going up there, not messing about and taking care of business.

I actually felt a bit sorry for Hibs such was the gulf. That said, I  hope we stick 10 past them in the return.

We have had 2 excellent pre season friendlies this week. These games have helped us with fitness and tactics, 9 goals and 2 clean sheets, without having to get out of second gear.
They have been priceless.

so this is what it feels like to be a Man City fan against most teams.
