I thought the commentators were quite amusing... praying that Villa wouldn't go up any gears.

“..and Hibs are taking an absolute doing! “

Give young Feeney his head in the return leg. Lad's gonna be a baller. Think we've sold off all our other young lads unfortunately so I'm not sure who else we can blood.

Olsen in goals for full 90 next week?

They’d still need a miracle.

That was the most controlled "game management" I have ever seen in my life.

Even the commentators were talking about how we could switch up the gears when we wanted to, & when we did, we pretty much scored.

But at the same time, there was an element of energy conservation involved.

An absolute European footballing masterclass.

Fair play to Digne, he was fantastic. The quality of the opposition has to be taken into account, but you can only play who is in front of you. But everything came through him.

Great result. Hopefully we can get some more of the squad players back fit & give them some minutes next week.

It was only Hibs.

But then, it was only Varteks. And only Rapid Vienna. And only Trabzonspor. And only...

Well done Villa a classy win, thought the commentary was terrible, they spent about 90% of the time talking about anything other than the match.

Exactly, long run of Euro games and trips ahead now.

I liked the fact that McGinn said in the after match interview that Emery wasn't happy with the first half.

Omari Kellyman. Maybe Kaden Young. Kerr Smith. Or Rory Wilson...

Tbh though, it wouldn't be a bad night to give the back four more time to play together. Cash, Carlos, Torres, Digne (currently) Would give them time to get used to each other a bit more & build up a partnership. Even if its only Carlos & Torres...
