Quite enjoyed the music before the game, especially U2

I'd heard standards were slipping off the pitch, didn't realise it was that bad.

Me too, I couldn't believe it when we got some Hans Zimmer (Inception soundtrack).

Well being as he used at least one of the players picks to ask why they were still playing for Brighton and not Manure, I would hope he keeps our players off the spotlight. But also, as all of our players had such a good game (albeit didn't have to perform well either), there was no standout name for Crooks to try to latch onto. I mean he picked Ederson because he kicked the ball well once.

What a piss easy bit of paid work that is. I bet he doesn't watch any game, just picks players from the headlines banner on SSN.

I'd say remember when we tonked them at Villa Park? The infamous Hansen, "you'll never win anything with kids" line on MOTD. And see what they went on to do.

He said we were dark-horses for the league in summer 1997 and then we lost our first four games but I do think he's always had respect for the Villa. Maybe from how close we ran them in '93 when his job may have been on the line.
