Without leaping to conclusions but we were playing Everton and someone’s had it away with the dugout roof. It’s going to be a bit parky for the subs if it isn’t returned by October.

When asked about the loss of the dug out i was informed it is a requirement of playing in Europe - although no one could offer anything else. I offered that they do know it rains here in England?

That throw in, what on earth was Ash thinking?
Wasn’t it Keane who was half asleep?

He was but the throw was incredibly poor judgement. A cynical Everton fan might even think Ash took advantage of Keane’s poor positioning to help Duran score, it was so bad a throw from their perspective.

Spurs took a player off very early last week after a knock to the head, he was on long enough to score a header mind, but it was good to see them taking it seriously, even if the player himself was fuming.

I think on the BBC live text yesterday they said one of the other Everton players was signalling that DCL needed to come off, but he stayed on for ages after that. People can argue all they want about the risks from heading the ball, but a clash of heads is serious business.

Ange made the right decision in that Spurs game despite  Romero whinging like hell. Dyche bottled it frankly yesterday, at every level as a coach you have a duty of care to your players. There was no way DCL should have stayed on after that hit, he was in some state coming off.

The irony of  the gift from Ash was that Ollie was desperate to score all afternoon and would have had a gimme if he had not be subbed a minute earlier.

WTF is Ange? Show some disrespect please and call him Postecoglou.

He has always had a soft spot for us, he gave us the Djemba twins and recommended Alex Mcleish.

Given he's a multi-millionaire, I'd hope he doesn't waste his time drinking drain cleaner like Bells.

A nice 20 year-old Caol Ila would be the minimum, surely.

In theory we stole Bozzie from them. They had him but when his visa was cancelled he went back, married an English girl then returned. He had promised to sign back for Manure but they had just bought Schmeichel so he joined us instead as he knew he was going to be stuck as backup.

I would argue that Fergie could definitely spot players. Bozzie, the aforementioned Dane, Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, Ronaldo, etc. He soon dumped the ones he didn't rate fully (after giving them a few games to boost their prices).

Quite enjoyed the music before the game, especially U2
