Bert and Jhon on the bench

Good to have them back involved.

Not happy with that team selection..that back 4 won't win a tackle or header between them and selecting Bailey and Diaby once again leaves us light in midfield. Everton team, very limited as they are, look set for a physical battle and we seem anything but.

All managers have a favourite.

Come on you Villa Boys! Nobody get injured. Funeral time for Everton.

Bailey: sort your shit out and assist, score and beat men!

The rest of you: play like Lions and win the fucking game! It's not much to ask, is it?

Bailey will do well.

He generally has 1 good game in 8 with the other 7 being absolute stinkers. Let's hope today is the 1

If the person who handed my brother’s wallet with his ticket in at Aston Station is on here, then massive thanks. He’s picked it up and is now about to get into the ground. Hopefully that’s not all his luck used up for today. He’s usually a massive Jonah.

Surprised Bailey got the nod ahead of Tielemans.

Oh of course, we don't get to face the sad excuse for a striker that is Neal Maupay, oh no.

Calvert "broken arms and legs against every other team" Lewin is magically fit to play against us.

Hopefully there will be some good karma for the person that handed it in.

Bailey is useful in us attacking i think but you cant depend on him defensively so if we are not solid on RB there will be trouble again defensively on our right side IMO.

Bailey did score a cracker against Everton and then was injured for ages , can be the only reason.

Is Zaniolo injured already?
Yep, bought him pre-injured as part of the new efficiency drive under Monchi/Heck.
