I think I'd rather start Bailey and have Tielemans to come on and shake things up if things go wrong. Not sure I'd be filled with confidence if we're losing and have to look to Bailey to change things.

Worst thread title ever.

Disagree, sets it up nicely for the post-match thread (if we win).

Would have started with Tielemans for Bailey, but otherwise happy with the team, good bench.

Anthony Gordon looks like Paul O'Grady's half-brother and Watkins is twice the player Isak is. Come on boys.

Worst thread title ever.

That's really inviting a whole season of increasingly worse thread titles now.

My new home training top arrived an hour ago....its a sign

Best form of defence is attack and thier defence are huge but slow. Could be another tactical masterclass.
We also have have plenty of variety off the bench

Come on you villa boys

Very strange selection, seems to be a 433. If it is then I really dont understand moving McGinn from a position he had a field day against these last year.

Eek, have a bad feeling. I mean, what is the first day of the season for if not to violently burst Villa fans' optimism?
