As well as Buendía, Emery confirms that Leander Dendoncker, Álex Moreno, Jacob Ramsey, Bertrand Traoré, Jhon Durán and Tim Iroegbunam are all unavailable to face Newcastle United on Saturday.

Thats a substantial injury list.  Some wonderful players right there.
it is but I think only Ramsey would have been certain to start.

Buendia would have 100% started on Saturday.

The Guardian appear to think that the biggest talking point ahead of our game is Nick Pope's treatment and recovery from a broken finger.

Jesus fucking Christ.

Louise Taylor, no surprise, I think her salary there is covered by PIF.

The only mention we get is "While Emery ended up at Aston Villa". FFS!

Is that free to air? Meaning I could easily watch via browser now I'm here?

I'd go with this too Vinnie, but I wonder if Unai will use Torres instead of Digne.  That is a very decent side.

Everything I saw in preseason says Digne should be starting LB while Moreno is out.

I don't know how/when we work Torres into the squad, but with a really tough opening game like this, it's not the time to be unsure in defence.

Yep that’s the 10 for me and then either Digne or Torres, don’t mind either way.

One of Cash or Digne won’t be playing as Unai seems intent on the 3 centre back formation when defending so either Konsa or Paul will be the FB come CB
Also wondering if he might surprise by playing Phil
