James Wright certainly seems happy to have the ball at his feet, which is how Unai likes 'em.

Lost 2-0 to Brighton in the final. Both keepers made lots of fantastic saves. Kellman was out injured for semi and final. Got clattered by a Rangers thug. Was on crutches watching the final. He was again outstanding in the other games.

Hopefully Kellymans injury looks worse than it is. I was hoping that Emery could take a good look at him pre-season & send him out on a good loan...

Yep. I can't remember if it was the first or second match where he is 10 yards outside the oppositions area assisting a goal.

Tweeted: The club has confirmed a number of departures from our Academy following the expiration of contracts.
Best of luck to Chisom Afoka, Frankie Ealing, Taylor-Jay Hart, Aaron O’Reilly, Teddy Rowe, Jack McDowell, Dylan Mitchell and Abube Onuchukwu.

I thought Teddy Rowe was quite well thought of.

Hi Perce.

Yes, Rowe looks a good player. Chelsea were rumoured to be interested in him about a year back.

I saw Jamaal Jimoh score a brilliant individual goal at Burton in the Youth Cup (we lost) so I've kept an eye on him. He looks like a determined character to me (England U-18s?) despite our Baggies academy contact suggesting that there were doubts about his temperament.

On another subject, would it be okay to PM you re the Jimmy Hoffa stuff you were telling me about the other day?

JJ is a lovely kid. He missed out (harshly I thought) on the u17 Euros last year despite playing in group games. He can be a bit 'laid back' and he completely switched off once he knew other clubs were sniffing around. Lacked effort in training and his stats were woeful in PL tests.
