He's doing a Roma. 25 odd players signed, most sold or loaned out to the point we're still left with almost the original team that Smith/Gerard had.

He has done all of this with Emery. He didn’t do any of this alone.

Agreed...but the same at Roma without Unai. My point being the we're still left with the same team we had 3 years ago

I don’t disagree with the similarities. But the methods used to find and sign players is executed as a committee. You could argue Monchi identified players that the manager agreed to sign and then decided they weren’t good enough and sold. I don’t think that’s entirely fair either because it PSR, but then it becomes all the more important we sign players for the first team that are actually going to be good enough to start. We’ve not done enough of that or we’ve given up on players way too quickly. However you cut it, it’s a very poor outcome across the years Emery has been here and partnered with Monchi.

but Maatsen, Sancho and Elliott were all good today and Guessand was our best attacking player in the first half. I reckon if we have them all on from the start we'd have looked much more likely to score, even before the red card.

I'd would help if we played them players like Maatsen, Elliot and Sancho and get the drek off before we bollock him this weekend.

Pick your fucking strongest team.

How often will he play them, preferably from the start. We'll probably sell a few of them in January the way we operate.

Yes, Unai seems to have got obsessed with not conceding above everything else. It’s a fools errand, if you set up negatively it is incredibly hard to change course and so it’s proving.

Yep, just post the same thing over and over again like a 10 year old. Emery gets the final say on who comes in. It's really not that hard to understand.

I have nothing to add, I just wanted to quote it in case it's edited. It won't be edited, I know.
