But them.....sorry no
If my Mom signed for them i would not speak to her again - simple

I've heard she rang Old Trafford asking for a 'pay-as-you-play' contract.

My thoughts are he's picking up a huge amount of money for the last few years of his career.
We were helpless as soon as the release clause amount is met. As soon as it is was, we would be obliged to inform his agent and they would be allowed to talk to whatever club met it. I believe Villa had offered him contracts over the last 12-18mths but he hadn't been interested to sign. I suspect we would have offered a salary increse (but nowhere near ManUre's offer) and more importantly remove the release clause.
I would also suggest his agent was hawking him around and letting slip the amount required.

See you Youri, I won't boo or clap you...thanks for the memories.

Yes, I hope his red cheeks are blowing even harder than usual when Manzambi outsprints him for our third goal at Old Trafford next season. Thanks Youri but fuck you!

Aston Villa

Aston Villa can confirm that Youri Tielemans has completed a permanent transfer to Manchester United.

Having joined on a free transfer from Leicester City in 2023, Tielemans leaves Villa a UEFA Europa League winner, netting a stunning volley in the final that set Unai Emery’s side on their way to victory over Freiburg in May.

Captain of his national team at the FIFA World Cup, Tielemans was a fan favourite in claret and blue, with his stellar performances earning him both Players’ Player and Supporters’ Player of the Season awards at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

He made a total of 134 appearances for Aston Villa in all competitions, scoring ten goals.

A popular and highly-respected member of the dressing room, everyone at Aston Villa would like to thank Youri for his service to the club and wish him the very best in his future career.

True. But in the post-Fergie era, many a player has repented in leisure after marrying in haste.

I now hold a small hope that the niggly muscle injuries of the last year are a sign that he's on the decline and we've done them for a decent fee whilst he becomes yet another huge drain in their wage bill.
