Thought YT was struggling to make his mark up to the goal. Spectacular technique. He's an Emery success story, talent never in question but took a lot of work to get him back to his best.

The technique for the goal is mind blowing. A goal we’ll never tire of watching over and over. The pass for the 4th that never was, simply sublime, only the very best players have that touch and vision, and make no mistake this guy is one of the very best.

Decent bit of business for a free transfer.

Not sure I've seen it mentioned - but a better version of the opener against Young Boys last season.

Yes, I pointed that out to someone who said that we could have only had a limited time (since Liverpool) to come up with it. Can’t mind which thread it was on.

I think Rogers mentioned it in one of the interviews that we came up with it Monday but they could only practice it then due to flying out and then it being an open practice session in the stadium.

A brilliant angle of Youri’s goal. If his attitude was better, and he wasn’t so fat and lazy he’d have done a rabona mid air flying volley into the top corner.

There's been no fat and lazy consensus, has there? His cheeks (face) go red from running too much but he's not pale like Richard Dunne, so it doesn't show up as much.

The way the attackers in the box hustle the defenders towards the goaline to create space for the volley is brilliant.
