The French commentators have just come.

Twats.

The French commentators now sound like they want to throw themselves out of a window.

Still twats.

I'm guessing the ref was called over to decide whether our player purposely played the ball from Diaz's header which then went to the offside Virgil. That's why the ref needs to look.

yep, this, he was clearly in an offside position but it was about an interpretation of the law not just a binary yes or no decision.

So unfortunate for Alex - brilliant defending. There's gonna be 15 minutes added time on this game, isn't there....

That should be 2 yellows from TAA, one for the foul and another for smashing the ball into the crowd after the whistle.
