Think we’ve achieved all that we are going to for this season. 0-1 or 1-2 to the Spuds

Last time we beat them at home was 2008 when Laursen and Mellberg scored. Since then we've W0 D2 L10 (inc a LC game). And lost the last 8 (inc a LC game).

We'll twat them 4-1.

That's absolutely disgusting. I'm sick of stats like this.

I’m confident we are not done yet. I think we will see a massive effort vs Spurs and a huge morale lifting win. May not be enough in the end but we will give ourselves a chance of finishing in European spot going to Anfield. Lots can still happen between now and when it all ends, but it all hinges on us getting a win next weekend. Put me down for 2-0; Ollie and Buendia.

The last line, all the way.

They'd still be above us if we win 2-0, and then we've got Liverpool away

True but it would be a very "spursy" thing to drop points against Brentford and Leeds, this is a team that have dropped points against Bournemouth, Southampton, Wolves and Everton in the last 5-6 weeks.

Spurs are pretty rubbish lately. We'll have our injured men back for this game. Kamara, Cash to start this game and possibly Diego Carlos to freshen things up. 3-1 Villa.....

I'm not so sure that Spurs have looked rubbish, they've had bad halves (or is it half's?) but looked really good in others. Now Watkins goals have dried up I'm struggling to see where our goals will come from, and think we'd need at least 2 to win.

I'll say draw which would normally be a good point, but not enough to sneak into Europe. We'll play well and get done on the counter. Son will almost certainly score.

Just like what happened at their place on new years day??

I don’t know if we will win this, but I’m reasonably optimistic that we can, more than I was pre Wolves.

I’d go with

                                 Martinez

Cash.                Konsa.       Mings.       Moreno

                          Luiz.           Kamara

Mcginn.                                                 Ramsey
                                    Beundia

                                     Watkins

3-0 (Watkins, Dougie, Moreno)

That's a shocking stat. Think we'll beat them to set up a grandstand finish to the season.

So the flat spot arrived, probably later than expected, but expected all the same. Next question is when will it end? The narrow aspect of the last two results indicates that what Emery has worked on is still very much there but individual drops in level can't be absorbed when you have a squad as thin as ours.
Players are returning, the target is still in our sights and the manager won't lose focus. But Son will score.

2-1

Team needs freshening up for sure, Ramsey and Buendia have been pretty ineffective last few matches and can see Ollie dropping too wide again as he's getting little service.

Kamara and cash to return for this, the press needs more energy than has been evident recently, and some composure in the middle please.

2-1 Villa
