I called him all the rude names I could think of when watching the game, and reserve the right to do so again.  But I would imagine the stick he's got after missing that penalty has been relentless.  So you can't blame him for giving a bit back.

Having thought about it, Bailey would have made a big difference, speed and width was lacking as an option for us. I know there are concerns about him but there's no question he'd have occupied at least one, more likely two of their players and created more space.

Has Bailey ever made a big difference for us in an away game? My main concern about him is that he has been consistently abysmal (or unavailable) since he joined us.

5 goals in two years, none of them away. Assuming he doesn't start again this season, he'll have made 30 starts in two seasons. Too injury prone, and too ineffective, far too often when he does start. He's been a huge waste of money.

Isn't it nice that a team in the top 4 are having to adjust their game plan to deal with us, rather than the other way around.

What Bailey brings to the team is pace (at least the threat of) which means defences are more cautious and leave more space for Oli. Interestingly Oli's goals have somewhat dried up without Bailey in the team. I have no doubt he'll be upgraded, but that position has an important role in the team.

Giving it large after edging a narrow home win against a team with a horrific record there?  How the mighty have fallen

Have a reality check and know your place': Rio Ferdinand tells Unai Emery to 'sit back down' after Manchester United ended Aston Villa's unbeaten run .
Should have asked him how much is Utd players valued at compared to villa's, because they are moaning like f**k up there

Rio "finks dis" and "finks dat". One of the top pundits I'm sure you'll agree.

Don't see what his accent or dialect has to do with anything.

More risible than his pronunciation was last year when he picked himself as the best ever centre back to play in the premier league.

Or his rap career…
Or his boxing career…

Nope, that would be the words he says.

Meh, I just think it's really unfair and superficial. Some of the smartest people I've met have spoken like he does, dats and finks and all, and some of the dumbest morons I've met sounded like Bertrand Russell. Anyway I'm all for regional dialects.
