We're losing all the second balls, and it's really screwing us.

Playing a high line is so risky one mistake and your stuffed. We just gave the ball back to them on so many occasions we deserved to get turned over. Buendia is not suited to a wet pitch he's slipping and sliding and totally inaffective. Oh for a decent subs bench.

First really poor half in ages (of course it had to be here) and the ref has given us fuck all (as per usual).

I'd forgotten how much I detest 'Utd'.  How many dives in the box?  3?  Casimero slid from about 5 yards away to take JJ out.  No card.  Body checks Moreno.  Throw in to them.  It's just so, so annoying.

I'd take Buendia off at half time.  Its not just that he's been totally anonymous, he was literally walking back when the ball was there to win at one point.  I thought he must be injured but I don't think that was it.  All he had to do was jog a bit and he'd have got the ball.

That said.  The difference is they took their lucky chance and we missed ours (which was probably a good penalty shout that, of course, got totally ignored).

Fernandes.  What can you say that hasn't already been said.  A disgusting sight in every way.

That’s the game I watched. Don’t know what others are watching who are saying we were awful.  Sure we have been below our recent levels, but for that goal and with a HT team talk to come I wouldn’t have ruled out a win.  The goal makes it harder now

7th may 1984.  the last time man united lost at home whilst leading at HT.

over to you Villa  (prays!)

Are you serious?! Fucking hell...I was in utero.

Let's hope we're in nirvana by the final whistle.

Buendia has been poor for weeks IMO, headless chicken half the time, turns in to trouble and loses the ball way way too often

Yet he was the only player to set up the easiest of tap-ins. Ramsey has an amazing habit of running into trouble, if we had alternatives I'd take them both off.

We have been very poor,.throughout the pitch really..including Martinez who had to deal with that weak shot better for the goal. Sabitzer has sat on Luiz and we can't get playing as a result. Once again the long ball proving no dividends.

Our bench is so weak but I wonder if bringing in Chambers for Young could be considered. Also Duran in for Dendoncker. Match them with 4231 and drop McGinn in next to Luiz. As poor as we have been, Watkins slip cost us a tap in goal and we will get other chances. But we need fresh legs asap.

Think Donk's been our best player which maybe gives indication of type of game it's been. He's won challenges and this type of opponent midfield would feel lightweight without him so I'd keep him on and see how first 20 minutes have gone.

We haven't been that bad so surprised at the negativity on here, seems like people are getting withdrawal symptoms at not losing a game for three months.

First 15-20 minutes was a bit dodgy but we still created a very good move that Ollie taps in if it's a dry pitch. Even after it's a very good save to stop Moreno scoring.

Man. United weren't doing much when they scored which is frustrating. People have to accept though teams with top class ball passers will eventually beat high lines the way they can ping balls diagonally, I'm just happy they're not playing Rashford out left as that really would hurt us.

We looked pretty content with a 0-0 so now this is a different question for us to answer. It's a long way from being over although we do need the next goal.

Robbo, the pitch is always wet, it gets a soaking before the game! ;-)

Villa have looked knackered for the last couple of games to me.
really we needed kamera and bailey back to freshen things up.
There's always hope with Emery though.

man utd have been rampant, pressing us all over the pitch how can they keep up that tempo?
mings has nearly made a blunder so has Donk and players on top of McGinn and Buneida as soon as they get the ball there's someone smashing into their back.
we've had a couple of sniffs the watkins one, maybe he could of dangled a leg gone down screaming and got something?
surely manutd will take a breather in the 2nd half and we can push up and give them a bloody nose.

Fucking hell. That's some stat

I'd love it. LOVE IT! if we are the club to put that stat in the bin

Apparently also unbeaten in 26 games at home, which surprised me.

And then has a strop at his team mates every time he makes a mistake.

He does this every week. Surprised Unai hasn't spoken to him about it. Oh, and the directing traffic arm-waving routine. Tiresome.

That’s not the difference though is it. They’ve had waves of attack and we’ve barely got out of our half.

Nobody wants to put a foot in, even Donk who has chickened out a couple of times.

We’re second to everything.

Fernandes could eat an apple through a tennis racket.
