Looked a pen on Watkins. BT just glossed over it with a couple of piss poor replays.

I thought it was a penalty. But not a clear and obvious mistake. I would be happy if VAR was implemented like that, but consistently.

If that is Man Utd at Old Trafford, it's a clear and obvious mistake.  But I think that's the point you are making!

It was one of those where a toe on the ball means the ref has an easy excuse to not give it. Watkins was still getting to the ball and keeping possession without the contact but for some reason that never gets considered for teams outside the top 6.

This is what we want really, if they start pressing higher and trying to up the tempo it creates gaps for Watkins.

Buendia has lost the ball lots today as well as made some sublime passes / touches.  Also Watkins has been quiet so far.
