This game concerns me more than any in recent weeks. Not because we cant beat Brentford, because on our day, we can. I just have a bad feeling that our run will come to an end soon. I think its due to being a Vila fan for over 40 years & our experiences are to build up hope & then dash them spectacularly. Don't get me wrong, I trust Emery & what he is building, I just have a bad feeling. I hope I am wrong.

I thought we might come unstuck against the barcodes so I'll go with relentless pessimism again.

Just reposting this in case fate is getting any funny ideas about me being hubristic.

Still nervous.

Good man.

Did Emery not have a 20+ unbeaten run with Arsenal?  So it's not a new thing g for him

I guess I'd call that an emphatically unchanged team! Shame still no Kamara on the bench.

It'll probably come to an end against Barcehampton as they sing 'Mind the gap' songs....whilst being miles behind us.

The absolute simpletons.
