The original video was pretty embarrassing. They haven't commented on the villa nearly all season, and the first video they put out is a nonsensical and statistics-laden hit piece saying that we've been lucky. Now they are clutching their pearls saying, "but we've used statistics and we weren't mean..! You lot are just overachieving, stop harassing us." Pretty pathetic to complain about the supporters' reaction when you set out to use every statistic possible to invalidate the club's progress. It's clear to see that we are playing some of the most efficient and effective football in the league right now. A simple, "We were wrong." would've sufficed.

My stance on this is that if he hadn't repeatedly said we were lucky the original video wouldn't have been so bad. I also find it interesting that, over the season as a whole, we're "over-achieving" to the same extent that Man Utd are and far less than Arsenal or Fulham but Arsenal won't be labelled as lucky if they win the league, Man U aren't going to lucky if they make the top 4 and no one has been making a big deal about how Fulham should be in the relegation battle.
