Same starting X1.

They deserve it.
Emery will probably choose the starting XI according to how he has decided to funeral Brentford. This may mean a change or two, in spite of them all deserving it.

Very true. I did forget the 'Emery' factor.

You have to be optimistic for this one. We beat 'em 4-0 with Danksball let alone football.

I'm going for a draw for the 6th game in a row. Backing up Saturday's performance with an away win at Brentford would be massive though.

Gone for a draw, if only because that's what i went for for all of Deano's 10 in a row.

Oh, I don't know. We, and indeed the manager are exceeding all expectations. If this continues I can't see anything but a win and where once I struggled to make a positive case for the team now it's the opposite.

1-2

They’ve had a really good season to be fair to them, but since the beginning of March their record is W2 D2 L4, including losing the last three. Its really about time we end our terrible record down there.
They’ve got goals in them and we don’t want to be over confident, but if we play how we have been i see us winning 2-0 (Watkins and Beundia).

I think it'll be Brentford xG 0.85, Villa xG 2.64. xP for Villa: 3

All I can see is an evisceration based upon our form and the fact I don’t like Brentford.

We need to really push up our goal difference and punish shit teams so that when their turn comes again they’ll have nightmares.

9-0 Villa.

Yeah, Watkins and it could be a bucketload, McGinn and it may only be a few.

We won't lose. This is a manager who once went 22 unbeaten for the Arse, including apparently 11 wins in a row during that run.....the guys a winner, although best to ignore some of the revisionist comments since he left them.

Brentford are on a poor run but think it's a nailed on draw.
And yet some dickheads call him a failure

Unai should channel a bit of this :

GENERAL GEORGE S. PATTON exhorting the Third Army, Spring 1944
“I don’t want to get any messages saying, ‘I am holding my position.’ We are not holding a goddamned thing. Let the Germans do that. We are advancing constantly and we are not interested in holding onto anything, except the enemy’s balls. We are going to twist his balls and kick the living shit out of him all of the time. Our basic plan of operation is to advance and to keep on advancing regardless of whether we have to go over, under, or through the enemy.”
