I reckon despite being on the bench for a while now, that Carlos must be miles off actually playing. If he’s not going to get a few minutes when we’re 3-0 up then it’s hard to see when he is.

Who needs Andy Lochhead in the air, when Ollie can assist like that for our first? He was higher than the fucking sun!

Yes, a really great piece of athleticism, rounded off in style, and beautifully framed by a joyful Holte End.

If my evidently poor attempt at humour has upset anybody, then I apologise.

In my circle, we are not afraid of having a little fun at each others expense, including our own. We push the boundaries because we are all comfortable with who we are & we all welcome it as nothing more than playful banter.

But clearly, some people are a little more sensitive, so I will attempt to be more formal in the future.

But I will categorically state, my comment that has offended some, was NOT homophobic. Anybody who thinks the intention behind it was homophobic is 100% categorically wrong.

The point is, you and your brothers can have whatever bantz you want, but your not with your brothers on here, your on a social media forum and whether you like it or not, some people find what you said offensive or at best crass.

Which is fine & I accept that...

It was a poor attempt at humour & I live & learn...

I do wonder if we’d have been awarded a penalty had JJ not scored?
Clear push on Ollie

I do think the type of goal JJ scored is my favourite in terms of spectacle, because you have that moment delay where it lands at the player’s feet where the crowd know he’s going to smash it in and it allows this unbelievable release of emotion collectively.

A word on Ollies headed assist, I was under the impression that he just stretched and headed it wherever he could and we were a bit fortunate it felt to JJ. Watching it back now he put it on a fucking plate for him to smash if in and it was 100% meant. Superb assist.

Apologies for a bit of a change of tack, but given the timing I thought I may as well post here. Antiques Roadshow at 8pm this evening is from Aston Hall, and includes memorabilia from a former Villa player.

With respect Pablo, there may be some on here that could be struggling with their sexuality and are afraid to come out.  I accept that your banter with your brothers, well adjusted individuals no doubt, but, as said, it just may not sit well with people on a public forum.

And I understand that mate, as I watched it with both of my brothers, but there was genuinely NO intent or even thought regarding homosexuality, homophobia, transphobia, etc. It was just an admittedly, piss poor joke about the pain of anal sex & inflicting that on Newcastle. An act that all sexualities dabble in from time to time. I had no thought about homosexuality or anything else other than an obviously poor crass attempt at some lighthearted on the edge humour. Admittedly, I forgot where I was for a second & should have thought about it more before I posted it. This, I accept. And apologise wholeheartedly. But there was NO homophobic intent whatsoever. If anybody thinks that & feels bad about it, then please understand, it was not my intent & I do apologise profusely. Like I said, I live & learn...

Fair enough mate, that looks like a heartfelt apology so best if everybody moves on.

The use of a pleonasm to describe anal intercourse was pretty poor though. ;-)
