Leicester deserve to go down just for Kasabian.

Forest - Paperlace.

Oooh if it comes to underperforming cities and good music

Leeds Nottingham Leicester must be in the mix. Piss poor compared to most of us.
TBF Leeds had/has The Mekons, Gang of Four, Delta 5 and Soft Cell, so not too shabby.
+ The Bridewell Taxis

I’d love to see an exhaustive list but that seems incredibly threadbare compared to Brummagem. Then again, where isn’t?

Sheffield and Newcastle have broader and better IMO to Leeds. Similar sized.

Shout out for Konsa last night: I thought he distributed the ball pretty well for the most part.

He was excellent on Saturday (apart from that trip he got away with on edge of the box)

Another sensational performance and result completely ignored by main stream media, so we're still under the radar, which is brilliant.

Harvey Barnes is an excellent player and took his goal brilliantly last night.  I'd have him over Bailey in a heartbeat.  But with the English player premium, I'm sure we'll be looking elsewhere.

It's the first time I've been to King Power.  Feels a bit small doesn't it?  That drum is horrific, I'd be gutted if we ever go down that route.  I thought it was interesting their main support is placed next to the away fans rather than at an end.  Does that happen often?  Not sure what the thinking is there but in fairness there was a spell when they created quite a bit of noise.

As for the game, very good controlled performance.  We do struggle against a low block and needed a moment of magic to finish it, but another great win and Watkins marches on.

UTFV.

That was the first goal we've conceded from open play in 6 games. It was beauty tbf but Young got under the ball a bit and too close to Barnes, his first touch was perfect and left Ash for dead.

I hate to say it as it rams home my own mortality, but that was the first time since his return Young hasn't lived up to his name. Barnes proper had him on toast.

He can't do much right for me at the moment....blind pass near the end with his left foot was ridiculous, stupid mistake with Daka for the throw in nearly let them in for a goal....it's the pace of his passing that pisses me off. Barely makes Mings a lot of the time. This was during the second half when we needed to move their 10 men a lot quicker. Would have been ideal to bring Carlos on in hindsight.

To be fair that all stopped in the second half. Some tactics genius will be able to tell me why, but he didn't really have a kick in the second half.

Sometimes you have to give the forward the credit, was an outstanding goal. From the pin perfect cross field pass to the touch, run and finish. Surely Konsa should have been helping out Young a bit quicker?

It was the sort of opposition goal you applaud. Pass, control, placed it so accurately. Just a great move.

Although his nous and experience did contribute getting Leicester down to ten men.
Unless the fullback is a pace merchant like Kyle Walker, Barnes can do that to anyone.

I didn't think Leicester were too bad and they caused us a few problems in the first half. They should be doing better than they are with the likes of Maddison and Barnes though. I think they'll be fine in the end, Southampton, Forest and Bournemouth for the drop.

Unfortunately, I think you're right mate.

They’ve taken 1 point from their last 5 games and along with Southampton have lost the most games in the division, 18. They’re shit.

They let Brendan Rodgers take the piss for the first few months of the season when he whinged constantly about the lack of investment, should have been fired then like Bournemouth did with Parker. I don't understand firing him last week though without having a replacement lined up. You often end up with a caretaker making soft selection decisions like bringing back Vardy. Even with 10 men Daka was a lot more of a threat.

They have a rubbish keeper and don't look like scoring many. Not a good combination at this stage of the season. When the owner is in the departure lounge as we saw with Lerner, it does suck all ambition out of a club.
