Hope I’m not jinxing anything but, as is known, there’s usually one surprise team that go on a bad run and end up being relegated. Could it be that Villa will be the team that goes on a great run and finishes in the top 7 which virtually anyone wouldn’t have predicted a couple of months ago. Fingers and everything else crossed!!

One of my favourite away days in some time.

Almost sad to see how sanitised Stamford Bridge has become as their fans barely made a peep all game. Our fans were magnificent and to get to sing “You’ve seen the Villa, now f*ck off home” to the leaving home fans was brilliant.

Agree about Mings/Watkins, if they continue with their current form they will be an absolute must for the next squad. Still think it was a mistake letting Ings go because he hasn’t been replaced.

We have Duran who is more mobile than Ings. Ings was fine for us but his game overall is in decline I think.

I wouldn’t want to defend a racist fan but I’ve not seen that before.  I think fans who spend the whole game doing wanker signs at opposition fans are pricks anyway, but equally I don’t like the press making something out of nothing.

Of course if it is, then he’ll get a deserved ban.
