We definitely need an upgrade on Dendonker. He's OK, but we can't have another season where if Kamara gets injured the replacement is just nowhere near his standard. Getting by with Luis or McGinn isn't the answer either. Its such a key position for how we want to play.

Likewise right back, we've seen how much of a threat Moreno is, his football intelligence & how it's key to creating chances. Cash is never going to do that.

Buendia is just a frustrating player, does so much good but gives the ball away or makes the wrong choice more often not. Emery will lose patience with our attacking threat breaking down when the ball gets to Buendia & Bailey.

We need to replace Bailey with a footballer.

Out
Olsen, Young, Chambers, Dendonker, Traore,  Couthino & Sanson. We'll be lucky to get £30m in total.

In
Back up keeper
First choice right back
Young centre half
First choice midfielder
First choice No 10
First choice right forward & a young left forward.
To make the improvement we need that's £200m

Add in Archer, Iroegbunam & Ramsey to the squad. If we get £20m+ for Archer we'll sell, likewise Digne & Bailey.

How is Bailey not in your out section? I get that you end with saying we'll sell in the last sentence but I'd no hyperbole sell him for a lot less than 20. He pisses me off no end.

Without question Bailey needs to be replaced. But I don't think we'll sell, because I don't think anyone will pay what we'll ask. But his days as a starter are numbered. Maybe he'll go somewhere on loan.

Ajax were very keen last summer. Not sure what they'd pay but they picked up Haller from West Ham three years ago after he'd flopped, scored loads and then they sold him on for decent profit to Dortmund so think that sort of move would suit all parties.

I get ya. I can see us getting about 10 - 12 for him if we're willing to accept it (maybe subject to an initial loan) which I obviously would.

The likes of Dendonker & Chambers are the least of our worries - we need probably three players who instantly upgrade the first team rather than incremental changes to squad players.

This is how I see it.

I like what I've read about Alex Scott of Bristol City. Dynamic and versatile young midfielder who sounds like he'd suit Emery's style

They want £30m+ for him though. I think if we're spending that sort of money we need guaranteed quality at this stage, we've got enough promising kids of our own.

Bailey has been a disaster. Needs moving on.

I agree re proven quality, we don't need to be buying promising youngsters as a matter of priority, we need people we can add to the team and improve it immediately, and we need quite a few of them.

TBF, we clearly are going to be doing a lot of complicated business this summer, they haven't brought Alemany in to oversee a couple of purchases of promising kids.

I like Bailey, but he's just not showing any sort of decent quality on a consistent basis. It's al flash in the pan stuff.

I hope Ajax still think he's the answer for them.

Personally I don’t have an issue with “Donk” I would keep him tbh

He's an average midfield back up. Nothing against him, but I hope we strengthen suffciently so that the likes of McGinn become the back up and Deconcker moves on.

I thought along with Mings (apart from missing that chance), McGinn was our best player yesterday as he has been fairly regularly for the last few months. On recent performances i don’t either will be a back up for anyone.

We need to replace Bailey with a footballer.

He’s been a disaster. Injury prone, lacks pace and the ability to beat any defender. I think he knows he’s not up to it at this level and he’s totally shot.

As a massive advocate of Bailey before we'd even signed him I'm very disappointed to say I'm done with him aswell. It's just not going to work for him here. The only thing I will say is in his few decent performances for us, he has been played on the left instead of the right but with Emery favouring his wide RM/RW to cut inside thin this will not happen. Move on in the Summer and try and re-coup as much as we can.
