I think 'Takes my Breath Away' as I think it was by Tpau. It wasn't. Quite clearly my Pau thought process is all over the place and I've briefly been to the Pyrenees town Pau many years ago.

Tpau was China in your hands, an equally shite record that stayed at number one for an age, strangely addictive though and as a teenager i quite fancied Carole Decker

Plus we have Wesley and House to come back from loans - they'll be like 2 new signings :-)
I saw Wesley score with my own eyes; we'll always have Everton at home.
We've come a long way.

I remember watching that game while on holiday in France - wish I had been there - it sounded electric

Christ, I remember that night thinking we might well have robbed that lot blind by signing a proper player in Jota...

£15m looks a decent deal now.

Absolutely. Like Coutinho, Ings' injuries look like they've caught up with him.

He does have a European medal that he didn't have when he left us.  I wouldn't want him back, and I think we did more than okay out of the deal, but I also think both sides did pretty well out of it.

Is this really still a thing? I like Danny Ings but our form and Ollie’s especially went through the roof after he left. As good or as useful as he could be he certainly didn’t fit our style of play.

No links, but I heard him mentioned on a podcast, checked his YouTube reel and fell in love. I imagine he’ll play at least this season for Sheff Utd. Like Grealish on speed (pre-Pep lobotomy) but scores more goals by the look of it. Think this is all 2023.

If Madison joins Spurs for £40m which in today’s market is a steal for a 26yr England international, then Harvey Barnes can’t be the same price. I would hope if we are after him he comes for £30-35m at most.

Don't think it's still a thing. I was being an arse.
