PADL 1 is wank
PADL2 is silent

At least I’ve not paid the Villa site for a one off load of crap

Great press and pressure from both Philogene and Coutinho to win the ball, and a really smart first time finish from little Emi, who did really well to get into the box considering how deep we were when we won the ball back.  Excellent goal.

It's not silent, it just doesn't have the comms.

It feels like we have gone up a gear or two.

Yeah, this is how we need to be able to play. Absorb pressure and then when you get a sniff, back of the net.

As soon as I start to wonder if we should think about selling Coutinho and Buendia they do that.

What wonderful depth in the squad, off the bench or if/when they start

The stadium seems emptier. I suppose most of the Valencia fans will have heard their moms calling them home for their tea which will be ready in 30 minutes or so

Have to say, the shirt looks lovely at a distance and sans sponsor

I still get worried watching us play out from the keeper with both full backs hugging their respective touchlines, but it does promote some lovely passing play.  I'm sure it's going to cost us a goal or two at some stage, but i'm confident we'll score more keeping the ball this way...

Close up it’s absolutely wringing wet with sweat. Terrible to play in.
