Pretty sure the commentator just said Lazio finished second in La Liga.

That would be quite the achievement.

Also said that the penalty miss was unlike Ollie Watkins.

Who scored our goals please?

Watkins and McGinn.  Watkins missed a penalty earlier.

He has to be off penalties, surely.  Misses far to many.  Nice to see him amongst the goals again though, wasn't great against Brentford.

Did Coutinho survive the assault?

That was absolutely excellent. We've been really good offensively all pre-season but that was the best defensive display as well.

Absolutely superb. From start to finish. I know we need to temper expectations, it is pre season etc etc, but we knocked the ball around with ease all game and finished our chances really well. Should have won by 4 or 5

Yeh. Don’t think the cross was going in.

Good use of £4.99

That's the way to help grow our commercial revenue. Good man!

Brilliant performance, obviously it's only pre-season but if we play football even close to that this season we'll be well in the mix for the champions league spots. Our midfield options are scarily good given what they cost, Doug and Tielemans together in some games is going to be beautiful.

For those of us who couldn't watch, any chance of seeing the goals and having a match report, pretty please?  Sounds like we played well from reading this thread?

Decent! We didn't have quite the control we had after Teilemens went off, but we played some good stuff throughout. I guess Lazio are further behind their preparation than we are, but we looked good, calm, interested, making opportunities. Can't wait to play them competitively.

Since when did Douglas Luiz have his full name on the shirt
Only since he joined us. Before that it was just Lu.

Well it's a long drive home for the Lazio fans.
All roads lead to Rome, but they all go via the Ray Hall interchange.
