I wouldn’t like to try and pick the 11 at the moment .

I think today was close. Maybe Digne in the back four and Kamara but yep, it's going to be interesting.

If Philogene-Bidace keeps this pre-season form up he'll be hard to ignore. I thought he had absolutely no chance whatsoever of making it with us, but has looked very good indeed. Full of attacking intent and puts a decent amount of hard work in as well. I can well see him taking Ramsey's spot until JJ is fit again.
Did look like a promising one today,  not more than that IMO.

Did well again today, BUT did miss those two volleys albeit they were tough chances

They were much tougher than the Watkins chances, especially the one literally handed to him on a plate.

If the Chelsea match ends in a draw , I think we win the cup?
Small time. Not worth worrying about our kid.

100% Watkins had an absolute stinker today.
Bidace for me is now well ahead of Bailey , tremendous prospect

I don't think there are many players in the world that would've done significantly better with his chances today.

Today first halt we was good I thought. Second half was a bit MEH from both teams. The 3 at the back very good first half. Carlos and Chambers did ok as did Digne. Kamara had a good game. Diaby our best forward already. Watkins as last season  nearly an attack on his own but miss most of the times when he should hav scored - might be a mental factor. I think Bailey is better than others on here seems to think. PC isnt good enough ATM.
How I would like the the Team for the season as it stands:
Martinez, Konsa , Mings, Torres, Moreno (Digne), Kamara, Luiz, Mc Ginn, Ramsey (Buendia), Diaby, Watkins.
Bench: Olsen, Chambers, Carlos, Digne, Tielemans, DenDoncker, Bailey, Buendia

Cash isn’t in your squad at all? I thought he was excellent today.

there isn't a first XI , it will be opponent and game plan dependent. Dendonker not featured at all though despite being there , is he injured?
Its hard to read much into these games when players aren't putting proper challenges in other than that ****** Mee who was out to mame someone again

Short of an injury, I don't think there's any way Unai doesn't start Torres in the first game.

He might get minutes but can’t see him starting unless in the next two preseason games he’s outstanding. He was okay today but disappointingly there was no evidence of any great pace we were told about. We also looked stronger with Mings and Konsa. Understandable as they know each other inside out.

A comfortable work out and some real positives, especially our crisp, quick passing through the middle (just after Tim Howard had said we needed to go wide!). I also don't think that Brentford will hit too many screamers like the second goal and the shot that came off the bar for their third.

I thought Emi M's distribution was varied and accurate (lovely ball for Diaby). Carlos got some minutes; patience will be needed as he recovers from a serious injury. I thought Cash did well as an "advanced right back" but doubt he will get that much room in the Prem. Lastly is that the same John McGinn who looked so drained of confidence and effectiveness under the previous manager? Captain Marvel.

Can't wait for the new season.
