Douglas the pick of the second half performances, I thought.

Revan looked lively.

Mings had a stinker, but only Preseason.

Lovely to see Diaby get a goal and he almost set Cammy away at one point too.
Mings had a stinker? Are you sure?

Perhaps stinker is a little harsh, but he definitely had some "moments" last night.

Most players on both sides did, I think the pitch and conditions were a big factor. It's not often you see players 10minutes into the game looking like they've taken a shower in their kit.

Moisture in the air.....

Is anyone else really wanting us to win this pre-season tournament? I know it's meaningless, but I want us to have that competitive streak where we want to show we are the best at every opportunity.

Plus, if it takes off and they do it every year, I want our name to be there as the inaugural champions!

If we win it, it means we will win the league, if we don't, it is because we are concentrating our efforts on winning the league and friendlies don't matter.

Ramsey and possibly Buendia out of the Brentford match. Ramsey out for 2 weeks, Buendia being assessed tomorrow to see if he can play or not.

I hope young Ramsey doesn't turn out to be made of blancmange, it would be such a shame.

Lightning permitting, is the Brentford kick off at 12pm tonight?

Strange defensive selection today. Cash, Konsa, Mings and Torres.

Mings at left back?  Or 5 at the back and McGinn as a wing back?

Edit:  Cash at left back seems far more realistic on reflection.
