I think a lot of teams will try those tactics against us this season.

I think this is one of the reasons we prioritised getting Torres in - the ability for a long direct pass to unlock defences out of nowhere, in combination with runs from forwards and/or speedy wingers.

Assuming it goes ahead maybe the reasoning behind keeping Martinez on the bench is there is a large Hispanic population in Orlando so he might get a big reception when he comes on.

Might be very wide of the mark and we just fancy giving ourselves a handicap before we get going. I’m going to give it another half hour and if we’re not any clearer I’ll call it a day.

Maritnez on? A-ha! Following my unique and intense scouting of the situation that could not just have been regurgitated from both published sources and common sense, I can surmise that my insight has been shown to be valid. You are all welcome for my presence and my foresight. I surmise we will sign many Americans as a result.

Hate to say it, but Archer not good enough tonight. Did himself no favors.

Very slow build up tonight throughout the team. None of the fluid football we saw against Newcastle.

Warnock who said the other day Harry Wilson had one of the best left foots in the league just missed a cracking chance with his left foot.

A touch of Tony Daley there. Didn’t control it properly but still smashed it home.
