Is it normal/not unexpected for an American game (not just football) to get rained off?

Thunder and lightning tends to get really bad in Florida, especially Tampa.

Quite often delay NFL games. Although they wear metal helmets, so a bigger risk really.

Assuming it goes ahead maybe the reasoning behind keeping Martinez on the bench is there is a large Hispanic population in Orlando so he might get a big reception when he comes on.

Might be very wide of the mark and we just fancy giving ourselves a handicap before we get going. I’m going to give it another half hour and if we’re not any clearer I’ll call it a day.

It’s absolutely lashing it down in Toronto right now. The weather everywhere is just fucked. See the ice rivers north of Milan?

Or this hail shower Gerenzano, also in Italy?

On the bright side. Sky just showed highlights from the 2nd Leg of the 2019 Playoff Semi between Leeds and Derby.

Comedy gold.

I was based in Wichita, Kansas for most of the 1990's, and was surprised to learn that lightening kills more people than tornadoes.

Fascinating stuff. So basically what you're saying is The Wizard of Oz was like one bad acid trip?

Think I’m done.

Same here. There is zero analysis anymore. It’s 2 minutes of utter bollocks and then 5 min of ads.

Just caught up with Corrie, Sarah braved the DNA results and the father of her unborn is Damon, the wrong'un.

Thought I'd catch the last half hour of this game but if it hasn't even started, feck it. Even if I could probably get away with working from bed in the morning.
