I know it's hard to say until you see starting line ups and what not, but can we assume Newcastle were the toughest of the 3 US matches?

It's just an annoying time. If it was 2am, could realistically go to bed and get back up, but midnight means staying up.

Isn't Sunday a 5pm ko?

Dogtanian. Simply go to bed two hours earlier than you would have for a 2 in the morning kick-off. Hey Presto! ;-)

From what we saw, all the team's played like it was pre-season and hot. The only exception being Villa's 1st half attack. We left the earlier Fulham-Brentford game early in the 2nd half to go back to the fan zone because it was pretty low quality. Lots of touchdowns though to keep the locals happy :)

Just watch it at the American time, then there's no problem!  ;)

Yeah, the food and drink was extortionate. We paid $40 to park too.
I saw them selling Villa shirts for $120.
The fan zone was ok, kept my daughter happy for a while especially the 2v2 game we played.
went to bed at 3am, up at 10.00am , little sleep this afternoon, isn't retirement lovely

Feels like the teams in this US tournament have been briefed to play open attacking football to keep the locals happy. Watch the next game end up a turgid 0-0 now.

Well, it would be a sad state of affairs if teams were told to park the bus or reenact Germany vs Austria 1982.

It's just an annoying time. If it was 2am, could realistically go to bed and get back up, but midnight means staying up.

That used to kill me when I lived in Shanghai. The Saturday 5.30 kick offs in winter meant a 1.30am start over there, but at least I could lie in on Sunday morning. The worst were the Sunday 4pm kick offs as that was midnight in China. Going to bed deflated and trying to sleep at 2am on Monday morning was really difficult. I was too furious to sleep at all after the 2010 Phil Dowd disaster.
