That’s not the old crest, that’d be the original and best round badge,

Has a very frustrating day downloading a few pages of the match thread at a time whenever I got some mobile reception. Looks like we started well and would have won of not for Olsen.

Hopefully it makes us more likely to replace the useless lump.

The Premier League have released some bodycam footage from a camera that Guimaraes was wearing last night, makes interesting viewing.

We still have Bailey, Coutinho and Diaby to join the squad that scored 3 last night.

3 observations from me after a quick watch.

Buendia looks reborn
Olsen is hot and very, very cold
Carlos is going to give away a lot of penalties

Thought Martinez was asleep for their first. Playing a high line then his starting position needs to be a lot higher to deal with balls over the top. Not sure if it's the new shirt but Buendia looks a bit trimmer. Ongoing worries about Carlos I'm afraid, done by ball over the top far too easily and ridiculous tackle on Wilson.

I thought we were much the better team for the majority of the game. Whilst we cut them open multiple times, their goals & chances were mostly from our errors.

The young players more than held their own.

Buendia is such a frustrating player, is often instrumental in linking our play but then let's us down with a lack of accuracy. If he can improve that we'll take some stopping.

Went to bed when we were very comfortable at 2-0 up but having just seen the highlights above conclude that we're good going forward and prone to errors at the back.  We have to be completely on it playing with such a high line and Olsen for their 3rd I think it was, pushing the ball back into a position for their attacker.  The initial save should be pushed out of harm's way, that's basic stuff.

Konsa needs to stay on his feet; if he jockeys Anderson for the first, he probably does enough to put him off the shot.

Omari Kellyman, still only 17 but along with JPB the pick of the kids supposedly.  Has anybody seen him playing for the U18s?

The old crest ...

And just Philogene....
Philogene-Bidace on back of his shirt. That will bring a few extra quid in on his shirt sales

I know the ref was wearing one. Was it definitely Guimaraes?

Why doesn't he have his own thread yet, looks very promising, more so than Chuk did. Fingers crossed he doesn't get his head turned before we can get him signed on a long deal.
